This composer, born in Ecuador in 1955, is considered one of the great talents. He was awarded several prizes by the United States, Italy, Canada and Ecuador and he received commissions from various flute ensembles. The three short duets have a light character and their musical language allows easy access. At the same time, they offer an interesting introduction into modern language of music without using new playing techniques, and especially their rhythm proves interesting.
