'Our fascination and admiration for Bach inspired us to make several transcriptions of his compositions..The general style of writing and the striking theme with its many leaps made this fugue very interesting to arrange..and provides the four players with an exciting challenge. Although this fugue is paired with the Prelude BWV 543 in 18th Century copies, it is generally believed that Bach conceived it as a separate composition.' - (arranger) Joris van Goethem.
