For two 'rhythmical moving specialists' (score; two are needed for performance). This is: a piece with audience appeal that requires no special technical skills or instruments--a musical piece in five parts, which can be varied according to type of floor and time-frame--a varied, dynamic show with spectacular artistic interludes. You need: two standard cardboard moving boxes--two 'moving workers' (players), who will work rhythmically with the boxes (hit them with their hands, throw them on the floor, turn them, push them, and throw them in the air)--some knowledge of music, and a really good sense of humor. After all: Moving doesn't have to be boring or expensive!!!..let's get moving!!!.
Vocal shouts are also required. ..[T]he number of syllables in the German text is different than the English, so rhythmic adjustments to the shouts are needed. This duet will need to be memorized for maximum effect.--Brian Zator for PERCUSSIVE NOTES, August 2008.
