These songs, which for the most part are of traditional Japanese origin, show Wil Offermans was inspired by the landscape of the island of Kyushu, far away from the hectic Western pace. At the same time, by using a synthesizer, he tries to form a connection between tradition and modern times - a subjet which is widely spread in Japan. Both the sound language of the East and their meditating character is shared by all pieces.
