This issue presents one of the most important works of flute literature in a revised edition. The editor comes up with a new interpretation of the handwritten source of the piece. In turn, this leads him to conclusions which oppose those mentioned in current editions. All this is treated in the detailed afterword which also includes practical hints for playing this piece.
