It is not an instruction book, yet it does contain fingering and some "how-to" suggestions. It is mainly a collection of fun and interesting songs to motivate kids to play more. Each song is short, but designed to teach a specific skill.Once CD has the recorder part and accompaniment included for each song. Another CD has accompaniment only so it can be used for play-along. The third CD has "pdf" files containing the printed music that can be used on a PC or Mac with free downloadable Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed.
