Rondo in E Minor.
Mozart, Franz Xaver Wolfgang.
Edited by Rolf Ermeler.
Flute & Piano.
For: Fl-Pf.

Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart, the sixth child of Wolfgang Amadeus and Constanze Mozart, was born on July 26, 1791 in Vienna. He was named in honor of his father and his father's pupil, Franz Xaver Suessmayr. He studied with Antonio Salieri and Johann Nepomuk Hummel, and achieved a moderately successful career as composer, pianist, conductor, and teacher. Despite that, his life was spent in the shadow of his father's genius, and the feeling that his efforts would ever be compared unfavorably with those of his father. Franz Xaver died on July 29, 1844, in Karlsbad, where he is buried.
