Round and Round (10 well-known rounds) - sc. Contributors: Rothgarber. Recorder(s): S, Orff, vo. Score. Publisher's category: Classroom.

Rounds have always been a delightful source of musical fun for students, as well as a wonderful introduction to part singing. I have put together this collection with the hope that it will serve equally well the needs of the young recorder student. The rounds can be performed in a variety of ways:
1. Recorders and/or voices with melody in unison.
2. Recorders and/or voices with melody in unison, and percussion accompaniment.
3. Recorders and/or voices with melody in a round.
4. Recorders and/or voices with melody in a round, and percussion accompaniment.
Any or all of the rounds can be played on tuned percussion instruments as a melody in unison, as a round, or doubling one or both parts with recorders and/or voices. A collection of familiar rounds which can be performed in a variety of ways. Scored for soprano recorders, voices, and Orff instruments. Excellent introduction of part playing and singing. Recommended for the elementary recorder player. - Herbert Rothgarber
