Each selection also includes an optional Orff ensemble accompaniment for those classes using these instruments. Add your own ideas play as recorder duets, rearrange accompaniments with other instruments, add chording instruments, and improvise interludes between repetitions of each piece. Arrangements may be rearranged for other consorts that might have tenor recorders
Each arrangement is a folk tune to sing and play. A teacher's score and student part are given for each piece. Groups might perform an arrangement first as a vocal piece with accompaniment, followed by an instrumental performance. Singing verses between instrumental performances or improvisations would offer additional performances options. Teaching suggestions are given for individual pieces throughout the collection.
Permission is given by the publisher to copy the student scores for distribution
