Betty Bertaux, founder and director of the Children's Chorus of Maryland, is regarded as an authority on vocal and musical development in children. A former faculty member of the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore and Holy Names College in Oakland, California, she has been professionally active for over 40 years, working with music students of all ages. Dr Bertaux is internationally recognized as and often engaged as a guest conductor and workshop clinician with children's choruses and choral conferences.
