Tchaikovsky wrote "I am in love with this work and cannot wait for it to be played." All four movements have been carefully abridged to retain the beautiful melodies and luxurious harmonies. A demanding work for quintet, but the arrangement includes a number of suggested edits and cuts to help simplify the work for the average quintet. (Alt. C Tpt. parts)
