This moderately easy book is the third for percussion in the Klassenmusizieren (Music for the Classroom) series. Each of the 20 short works, whose contents are suitable for either the winter or spring concert, are notated in two sections: one for the rhythm section (instruments like triangle, bongo and snare drum) and one for the 'melody' instruments (like vibraphone, xylophone and marimba), making it easy to rehearse the groups separately. Text, practice notes and lyrics in German only.
[T]he advantage of this text is that the instruments are introduced in an ensemble format..[It] starts by introducing four- bar phrases on the membrane instruments..
