The fresh arrangement of the traditional English carol is especially appropriate for SATB and SAB school choirs. The buoyant minor melody and excellent voice leading are suggestive of the Baroque era, and a jaunty flute part adds to the festive sound. Not difficult, but extremely enjoyable to sing.
