Five poems about five fairytale characters, with music set not to the original story, but to Miss Alekiês poems. Each poem is written both above the music, and transcribed in the music itself as a guide to what is occurring when. The poems should be read aloud before the performance of each corresponding movement, but the performers should feel free to do as they wish. 5 Movements: 1. Beanstock Giant, 2. Rapunzel 3. Rumpestiltskin 4. Alice 5. Red Riding Hood Rival. This quartet was designed for school performances, but could be performed anywhere.
