Students will have no problem depicting a whirlwind in this fast and exciting solo. The swirling melodic pattern in C minor and 6/8 meter gives the feeling of whirling winds. Hand-over-hand arpeggios and melodic sequences are found throughout and aid in learning and memorization. The piece fits well in the hands, making it as fun to play as it is to learn.
