Anton Reicha was born in Prague on February 26th, 1770. As a teacher, his pupils included, Franz Liszt and Hector Berlioz. As a composer, he made a substantial contribution to the literature for wind quintet. Reicha moved to Paris in 1808, became a naturalized citizen of France in 1829, and died in Paris on May 28th, 1836. 1829, and died in Paris on May 28th, 1836.
