Antonio Rosetti was born Anton Roessler, around 1750 (he had adopted the Italianate form by 1773), in Litomence, a town in Northern Bohemia. He composed a great deal of music, including many symphonies, concerti, and vocal works, probably being best known for his horn concerti (which may have served as models for Mozart's own). Rosetti died on June 30th, 1792.
